Davido makes comment that suggested his youth service got cancelled
The singer had shared the comment after popular entertainment promoter King Smade was given a commendation for outstanding performance by the service

Three months ago, Nigerian singer Davido caused a serious commotion on social media at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after he took up the mantle to serve his country.
The singer decided to go for his one year mandatory NYSC.
Many Nigerians were excited to see that Davido had chosen to serve his country despite his privileges.
He was described as a true Nigerian and was commended by Nigerians for taking the step.

However, in a recent development, it was gathered that the singer's service had been cancelled by the National Youth Service Corps.
The reports of the service cancellation surfaced after Davido commented on a post shared on Instagram.
The comment had suggested that his service got cancelled.

Popular Nigerian entertainment producer Adesegun Adeosun popularly known as King Smade, had taken to social media at to share his letter of commendation, which was awarded to him by NYSC.
The entertainment promoter was commended for his outstanding performance on social activities in the orientation camp.
Davido's comment said: "Nah so dem cancel my own."
This comment made Nigerians assume that the singer's service was cancelled or that his show in camp was cancelled.
However, it is possible that Davido was talking about a different thing entirely.
The singer who had turned his camp's arrival into a concert was also very active during his own orientation. It could also be assumed that the singer's commendation for social activities was cancelled not his service
