P Diddy's ex-girlfriend Kim Porter has died while at her home on the night of Thursday, November 15

She is said to have been battling a flu which was being treated with saline and vitamins
Authorities have said an autopsy will be carried out to determine if she might have contracted a disease during her recent trip to Africa
Music mogul P Diddy’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his three children, Kim Porter, has died at the age 47.

The cause of Porter’s sudden death is not yet known but reports indicate authorities were called to her residence after someone suffered a heart attack.

A representative of Diddy’s confirmed porter passed-on on Thursday, November 15, TMZ reported, "Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter, I ask that you give the families privacy at this time,” the rep was quoted.

Porter and Diddy dated from 1994 to 2007 when they went separate ways but remained good friends for their children’s sake.

The report further indicates the former actress and model had been experiencing flu-like symptoms for several weeks and was being treated with Saline and vitamins.

It is also reported the authorities are also looking at a recent trip Porter took to Africa, to determine if she contracted a disease

They had three children together, including twin daughters, D'Lila Star and Jessie James, 11, and son, Christian, 20.

Diddy also helped raise Porter’s son from a previous relationship, Quincy, 27, who she had with record producer Al B. Sure.

In 2009, Porter told Essence opened up on their post break-up relationship with Diddy noting there was no bad blood between them.
